hello. tomorrow is the yearly memorial service & it makes me sad just to think about it. i've also been failing, not facing things, not accomplishing what i need to, so i feel like a total jerk.
i like to remember how adorable joe was when he was a little boy, & how much he made me laugh when he became an adult, he had such a dry sense of humor, & so quick. i am so proud of the person he was, he was a great guy. we are thankful that we spent 30 years with him, how can that be sad? he's my boy.

SWEETIE, PLEASE DON\'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF. FEEL WHAT YOU NEED TO FEEL, LEAVE THE GUILT BEHIND, IT DOES US NO GOOD. YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE GRIEVING. MY LOVE AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU!!!!!!!! (((((HUGS)))))

you\'re right, peaceful, guilt is a no win situation. i tell my daughters that, but sometimes it just creeps in with all those unanswered questions. it will be a lifelong effort to not let guilt & regret win.
