My Gift

Hugs and Prayers

I saw this and thought it was a wonderful gift. So I want to give this to you today. "What can I pray for you about today? What is weighing you down and holding you back?"

Oh Elissa, this is so timely. I just had knee surgery today and I\'m now lying in bed in pain. So a little prayer for a quicky recovery would be great! Thank yo SOOO much!

I am still praying for your full recovery, dearest Elissa. You are so right, when there is nothing more that we can do, we can always start to pray! My job as caregiver is coming to an end now, and I prayed that God would show me the way foreward. Well, yesterday I was offered a job! I will work 10 nights per month at a security firm, monitoring their camera\'s. It is not much, but I am thrilled!!! It is something for me to do and to earn some extra money!

You are doing the right thing, my sweet friend! Would you please also pray with me for my granddaughter, Lee-Ann, who is still struggling to get her sugar levels stabilized? She misses out on a lot of school work because of the sugar spiking so often.

Lots of loving hugs to you, Elissa!!! xxx

I remember my darling mom having such an intuitive sense with her family. Even when we didn\'t tell her what was going on she knew... When finally it would be shared she always said that she was so very grateful to understand how to direct her prayers and to understand why she had been feeling as she had. It was a confirmation of sorts of what she already knew.

Abundant prayers for each of us and my prayer is for continued health, well-being and that I live into my highest self and forgive myself when I stumble. Tender mercies are what they feel like to me at this point in my life and I wish tenderness for All our sisters of the heart.

Thank you, Elissa, for this generous reminder of the power of prayer and the collective. It matters because WE do.

Healing (((hugs))) your way,
XO Joanie

Elissa, such a nice thought and gesture. I am still praying for your complete recovery and now I will add Diane and her knee to my prayers. What a good idea, asking what people need in prayer! I will also add the other prayer wishes to my list. As for me, I am about to finish my weekly housework and have a slight cold that has been a pest this week. I just want to serve others with the tender mercy and grace that has been shown to us. I have so much for which to be grateful and want to give thanks!
Sending lots of love your way,
Leda
