Thinking of Cara... and thinking of you all... I wanted to share some quotes a friend had shared....  and a picture I'm posting as my hello to Cara... Just wanting to share my baby through her likes and dislikes... She was into dolphins in those last years... she had two glass topped tables supported by dolphin figures... one a taller corner table and the other a large round coffee table... so pretty... anyhoo... hope the picture and the quotes make you smile...

Love is an extraordinary gift in your life. Remember, that the gift does not become less valuable simply because the form/packaging of the gift changes. Love always transcends death.-Ashley Davis     We bereaved are not alone. When it seems that our sorrow is too great to be borne, let us think of the great family of the heavy hearted into which our grief has given us entrance and inevitably, we will feel about us their arms, their sympathy, their understanding. ~ Helen Keller

Oh these are beautiful quotes... I so believe this first one... Its so easy to feel devastated... like they're gone forever but the truth is they are with us every minute of every day... (yall a funny thought... I know our kids chuckled... which one of yall sent that thought just now... anyhoo... the thought...  no they do not follow us to the bathroom etc... at those times maybe they choose to go see what we've been up to.... reading our emails...  sneaking a cookie or a dish of gumbo.... I see you....  just had to share the smile with yall...) but they are with us just like the quote says... different packaging samd high quality ingredients... the love and the gentle tender hearts, the feistiness of spirit... all those things that makes them so much the people we love and that they love....
So often I have tried to explain how I can be so grateful for the other moms I have met on this journey...  hesitant to say it because I want so much for it to be understood that I wouldn't give up my child to join... but since it happened I'm so grateful for the suppor and fellowship I've found...  This quote sums it up pretty good...  Hugs Elissa Cara's Mom For Always
