Cara I don't love you less... I actually love you more because I think through others you're telling me that I can love and respect you more by not letting life end before its time... by loving you and our loved ones here as long as I'm supposed to...  so I'm working harder on learning to live again.  I wasn't ready for you to travel on... but I don't get the final say... and you told me its wonderful so I'm going to take your word my baby girl... I still miss your earthly presence but I'm so grateful for your continuing support for me.  Love you baby.  Mama

Yes...I believe that love is never ending--I was taught in school that energy never can be destroyed, it just changes form...I would like to believe that is what Daren has done, changed form.
Take care

(((Elissa))) I can picture Cara smiling over your shoulder as you wrote this...and cheering you on. Our children understand our pain because they know the depth of our love for them...that\'s how I see it...and I think they are right beside us as life starts calling us back. Hoping you find gentle days ahead. Love you.

You know Elisa, I really don\'t think Cara or any of our kids \"travel on\" exactly. I think we are meant to make this journey together. Somehow I think they are having themselves a good old time and only bring themselves up short when when we need them. I know you and Katie both can feel the kids as I can Timmy and Pat. It\'s a feeling more than anything...as in you can feel them with you. I honestly don\'t think it\'s imagination or need. I actually think they are there to help. I also think they jump on the bandwagon when we are having fun. God forbid they should miss something! Yes live...live and love, laugh and cry be all you are because you are sharing whatever you are and whoever you will be with Cara and we all know how Cara loves an adventure. Love ya, Kathy

Elissa, you\'re so right about loving our kids more. I do think grief teaches us so much about love, compassion, and empathy. I think we are better people because of our loss. Those characteristics come at a heavy price but I know I\'m less selfish and truly know what really matters now. You\'re a wonderful mother and Cara is a lucky girl. You are also a great friend. Love to you. Robin
