H A P P Y V A L E N T I N E S D A Y Another Cara Story... A friend had written and it got me started... doesn't take much... Cara stays close to my mind and heart... Baby Girl you better be reading over my shoulder because this is my Valentine's Day Card for you....so Jamie wrote... Elissa, You have moved me to tears. They are happy ones. You touched my heart so much. I have never had people as wonderful as all of you in my life. No one has ever called me brave, or admirable or anything special. Cranky, stubborn, mule headed and bitchy...those I have been called. I wear them as a badge of honor also. And as I said it made me think of another Cara story... so I answered... and the image I tried to share with Jamie is one I like to recall of Cara... She was and is amazing... So I wrote... I'm crying too... and laughing.... cranky... stubborn... bitchy even... and proud of it... OH YEAH!!! darn girl you sound like me... LOL I don't tell most people because they wouldn't get it... We used to play cards a lot... we played in Pedro tournaments... My husband Woody, myself, my mama, my brother, Cara and her husband Ben and my son John... We were highly competitive... We joked about in the tournament we had no friends... no family... we were out to whup on everybody.... <>Me, mama and Cara were all known for being tough players... and we were proud of it... Call us bitches we'd say hell yeah... Cara used to tease us and tell us she out bitched her mama and her grandma when she'd win... I so enjoyed having that real relationship with Cara... I think from the way you can talk real you will understand that I never loved my daughter more than when she was just one of the bitches... Some of yall might be shocked... I confess yall... we're redneck women... *Smile*<>Anyway Jamie I thank you very much for letting me share some of who Cara really was... She was tough... she was soft... she was strong... she was weak... and I love everything she was... I am so lucky to have had her for as long as I did... and I can hardly wait till its time to join her... until then I'm going to remember her every day...
