A friend on lovingarms had written something that really impressed me.... about all the things she's learned since her child passed... We have all learned a lot I would say... I think the thing that has been impressed on me the most is how kind strangers can be... I tend to not trust too much... and have a negative view of much... but yall have really touched my heart...  Well that's what I learned that struck me the most....Debbie wrote quite a list... and one of the things she wrote really impinges on my mind and I wanted to share it...  She said, "I've learned that its ok to have a bad day... I've learned that its ok to have a good day... and I've learned its ok to  start my day  over right in the middle..."   This is a more or less quote... but that's the gist of it...   Isn't it so true... and it can go either way...  I wasn't having such a great day when I started... but somehow I'm feeling ok... and I don't know why... I don't even care... I'm just grateful... and since Debbie said its ok to have a good day I think I'll relax and enjoy it...  Seriously I doubt if I'm the only one who sometimes feels almost guilty for not feeling bad....  You know our kids want us to feel good... Its OK.... Debbie said so... I say so... most important of all... Our babies said so.   Hugs Elissa

If it were not for the kindness of strangers, this would be a much darker and lonelier journey. It was strangers who reached out to me in those first anguished days, and it is strangers who I now call my friends. Embrace the good days when they find you--no guilt. (((love you)))

Elissa, I too wonder why some days are easier than others or why I wake up in a bad way and then the day seems to change or visa versa. I know that our children are ok, happy and with us. I know they don\'t wish a lifetime of crying on us. So yes, it is ok to have a good day and I think they are important to have. Lots of hugs, Jake\'s mom, kathy
