I'm working the church fair this weekend... I am having to force myself to get out and about... i have stayed home and cried so much for months now... I have a hard time leaving the house... I nearly didn't go last night... but I'd promised so I made myself... It was ok... To be honest I hate it... but I know I will do better if I can make myself do these things... It has been easier helping at the church food bank... only see a very few people there... I am ashamed that I have let myself get so beaten down... It was just easier to stay home and cry... What can I say... Sometimes at church a reader will read off a list of things we pray for... after each one the congregation will say pray for us... so... if yall would... pray for me that it gets easier...

I am just like you.I stay home and play hermit.I go to work and the grocery store and that is my life. Besides DS I do absolutely nothing. I too have been thinking about changing my ways, I want to start by exercising again. I need to get rid of these 60 lbs that have snuck up on my ...this past year.
Maybe you will give me inspiration. Hugs to you.
Elissa I am so sorry you are feeling this way. Since you are working the fair and seem to be getting really invlved...why don\'t you talk to your Pastor about becomming a Eucharistic Minister? With the compassion you have it would be very cathargic for you visiting the sick and taking them Communion. I think it would do both you and those in need good.
Love Ya, Kathy
I do, every day. I hope God answers my prayers real soon.
Hugs
Roz.
(((Elissa))) I am so very sorry that it is so hard...it is beyond difficult in the beginning to stop the tears and to face the world...it\'s \"normal\" to keep to oneself. Be gentle with you and be proud of yourself working the food bank and the fair...that\'s HUGE in my book. You and Cara are in my thoughts. (((love you)))
You are always in my prayers-just take little steps forward-one at a time-I\'m glad you made the effort to get out, Love, Sandy
Elissa, the first steps of everything we do now are some of the hardest. The fact that we try and do them makes are children proud and when we are able to actual do it, they are ecstatic. I know Cara is smiling and it will get easier. Lots of hugs, Jake\'s mom, kathy
Sorry that you are having such a rough time, stay strong and keep up the good work!!keeping you in my prayers!
I think the more you do the easier it will get.
