Birthdays are really hard when you have lost someone, but it is a time for celebrating her life and accomplishments. Will be thinking of you both on Sunday and praying you will have a good day.

Elissa, what a beautiful day it will be. It is our second Sunday of the month so we will all be lighting our candles. I will light one in honor of Cara as well. You will have all our strenght to get through the day. For me, the days leading up to Jake\'s birthday were worse than his actual day. We did a balloon release it was awesome. Lots of hugs, jake\'s mom, kathy
You can still celebrate her birthday.....but I know......who would feel like celebrating? I hope you were able to find some sort of peace on her birthday. We just got done with all the \"firsts.\" I imagine the seconds or even the thirds, fourths, and fifths will be much better. Keep hangin\' in there. Lots of hugs to you!
