A friend here on DS was writing about her gardening and her future visions for the land she's working on... and how it will someday be filled with flowers... I'm with her... I love flowers... and plants and shrubs... oh and most of all... I love trees.... she had a pic of her... and I loved it... to see her and the plot of land she's going to be working.... Anyway... I've been wanting to tell yall about my vacation... but dreading the long essay thingy... so... as I write to people... I'm going to copy and paste it here when I refer to my vacation and that way I'll get to show yall my vacation slides so to speak... but you won't have to sit for 2-3 hours while I do it... Do yall remember that... OMGyou got to look at her journal to get the picture... LOL I like the back ground... You might want to do some of what I'm doing until you can get all the areas cultivated... just scatter some flower seeds... there to the back... by that tree and big rock... kind of like God does out there in the west... We just got back from there and I'm in love... I hate the heat... but I do love the wide variety of plant life... Even the dead trees look beautiful... They don't topple over... they are there with their arms out reached to the sky... the lovely configuration of their branches and tree trunk... sometimes dark dark... sometimes bleached... I wanted to bring one home... but a toyota is a bit small for hauling a tree... *Smile*

Elissa, this is exactly what we are doing with our future home site except we\'re having to clear out the dead trees because they become a fire hazard. I harvest seeds from home and just toss them into the breeze, falling wherever they may. I love her description of the dead trees - like you, she paints pictures with her words.
