I'm having a bad couple of days here but getting better. My husband called the EMS for me last night but I refused to go to the hospital. I was so sick I sure didn't want to go sit in the ER... I might not have sit long if I'd pooed all over myself and vomited... which I couldn't seem to stop. I guess we should never doubt our taste buds. I ate a bologna sandwich for lunch yesterday. I thought it tasted funny but thought maybe my taste buds were skewed... Guess they weren't... Anyway, long story short I'm better but still weak and feeling a bit yucky today.
I do not think we're as weak as we think you are... Life is hard... but we're still here... still trying to help ourselves and our loved ones and others... I think we're to be congratulated. So I salute us. *Smile* We can make our own purple hearts... we can testify we have been wounded in battle... We are wounded anew every day. Hugs Elissa

But can I just say that I\'m a little relieved that it was the bologna and not the Ladyfingers?! (ok....... maybe that wasn\'t so funny....)
I am another who fights going to emergency but a year or two back I learned a valuable lesson from my mom-in-law. If someone else thinks I really need to go (or wants to take me) I GO!!! Here\'s why:
If I think someone else needs to go, I try to talk them into it when they\'re reluctant because I have their best interests at heart. Should I not give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to MY health? When we\'re sick, we\'re not always the best judge of what\'s necessary for our health......... If you would have taken Cara (under similar circumstances) why shouldn\'t you go?.............
On the other hand....... I\'ve told people NO on a resounding scale when I didn\'t want to hit the E.R. so what the heck do I know?
Rest for a couple of days......... Stay off the community boards (for your own well-being) and TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! Be kind and gentle and loving to YOU. Because we love you.......... and The Hatter can\'t throw any more parties unless all her friends can come!..................
