I think I'm more stressed about things in my life outside of here... The days are passing... and lately I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere... but I'm a survivor of many a battle... I will pick up and move along... some things are better...
I imagine you have days like I'm having... no matter how much we comfort ourselves that they are far better off... I can't stand but of course I can... I don't really have a choice... so I guess I should say its very hard to deal with the thought of all the days we'll never see nor hear them on this earth... So we move on... that's what we have to do for all the other people we love and who love us... But its not easy as you know so well...
I'm sorry but I wanted to express what's really in my mind in spite of the fact it may drag you down when you're not down... but you will be... we know we will be and I just want you to know that you can share with me... because I do know how you feel... no matter what people saying you can't know what other people feel... Maybe not exactly but darn close... a thought occurs to me... since what we feel is quite normal... perhaps its exactly how we're supposed to feel... That helps me a little... I'm not just a weak person feeling sorry for myself... Love to you and yours Elissa
I wrote the above in the wee hours this morning... a time I am often walking the floors unable to sleep... Then this afternoon I read another member's journal and I was moved to pray for her, for all of us, for me and mine... and I wanted to share it... because prayers are what helps me keep going.
Dear Lord, You know our pain. We don't expect or even ask for comple
te recovery... the earthly absence of our loved ones is eased somewhat by the knowledge that they are with you living a life of joy and peace in your presence. We do ask Lord that you continue to comfort us. The blessings that come from you sustain us. Still Lord the pain and the memories sometimes drain us. Grant us the strength Lord to continue working for ourselves and our loved ones in this life until we are called home to reunite with our loved ones. I pray for these things in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. If anyone sees this prayer and is not comfortable in praying to The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost... please join your prayers to mine to whomever you prefer to call your Higher Power. God knows your heart and I don't think he's all that worried about what we call him just that we do call on him. Love to you and yours Elissa
