I worried that people might think I'm saying in a less than subtle way, "get over it" no that's not my meaning at all... We're not going to "get over it" This pain is going to stay... but the love inside of us is stronger than the pain... the line, " nothing ever stays wrong that long... rhymes good... but its not necessarily so...

You know what I think about so often... when my daughter was drinking and I kept trying to get her help she'd get mad at me and blame everything on me... I told her and I told her counselors that if she got the help she needed and she and the kids were okay... I wouldn't insist on her having anything to do with me... that I would be there if she ever wanted me to because I loved her and I wasn't going anywhere ever... well Cara's okay now... but I guess I lied because I still miss her so much... I will carry this though and I'm okay... my child is worth all the love and pain, sorrow and joy, good and bad yesterday, tomorrow and forever.

One thing that keeps us going is that we know the suffering and struggles that our daughters went through are over now and they are
in a happier place. God has a plan and a purpuse for us all. The
love will always be in our hearts. Everything we look at reminds us
of happier times. Little things like the marshmellow chicks and
bunnies of the season that she liked so much. I always bought them
for her even after she was all grown up. Her boyfriend that was
giving us such a bad time after Elise died has passed away too. He
was asleep in a chair at his mother\'s house and she found him dead.
God has his hand in everything. I know I should feel guilty and
sorry but I haveno feelings for him at all. I do pity his poor
mom who is 85 years old and now alone. Life is so hard!
