I hesitate to tell some people that while I will always miss Cara's earthly presence I know that she is still here and all my other loved ones who have passed.

I read somewhere yesterday that believing you can talk to your loved ones and they can talk to you is part of the denial process in the stages of grief... I thought about it and finally I realized I had to defend my belief in the continuing existence of my loved ones just as we often have to defend our belief in God. If I'm a fool so be it.

Cara died on the 30th so I too don't have to dread that day. Actually I've made up my mind to start celebrating Cara's life on any and every date that I'm supposed to feel sad. I'm grateful for the time I did have her on earth and for the sure and certain knowledge that she is not gone at all.

(((HUGS))) to you....I agree totally. I believe Jon is still with me. He sends me signs all the time...not just \"things I might believe are signs because I am grieving\" but things that I KNOW only HE COULD be doing. I feel very lucky and grateful to have these experiences, and people can say whatever they want...but how sad for them...because if they ever experienced the deep grieving loss of a loved one, they would not see these signs for themselves out of narrow-mindedness. I recently met a lady who started contacting me because she heard from someone else at her church that I was talking about signs I had gotten from my son. And then, she tells me, they had a \"meeting\" to decide how to help save me. WHAAATTT??? She proceeds to tell me these are signs from Satan, and that the Bible says that people cannot have contact with us once they have gone to Heaven. Whatever..... I am a Christian, I believe in GOD, and I believe in the love I shared with my son, and the ability for him to communicate with me still. Hold on to your beliefs, I think THAT is the test....maybe Satan doesn\'t want us to think about anything of that power which will make us feel better and ease our pain. I am with you all the way! Love, Carole

I love to hear what you just said...to celebrate her life any and every date that you\'re \"supposed\" to feel sad...how awesome. Her time on earth had a purpose...who knows how many people she touched and you don\'t know about it. God created her and allowed her to leave earth for a reason (even if we don\'t understand why) God bless you for believing and not letting anyone take away from you the right to believe that you can talk to her and that you can feel her presence. There is a God, you will see her again one day, and you can talk to her anytime you want. Good for you!!! I\'m here anytime. Love you much!

Elissa, Don\'t ever hesitate to say what your beliefs are, EVER! They are yours and you shouldn\'t have to squelch them for anyone, ok? Besides, I believe as you do, but I would have told you the same thing even if I didn\'t share the same ideals. *smile* :) Love you, Kat
