In response to my last entry:
Unfortunately my husband's job and community band that he plays in are here in Baton Rouge. I do need to spend more time with my grandchildren so I'm going to work toward that goal. Either to visit them there or to have them here. Thank You all for your caring responses.
I hope everyone is feeling ok. The overcast skies continue to be a damper on my spirits and I know on a lot of yours. Just know that I'm thinking of you as I write this. My mind does a role call and wants you to know you're in my heart and prayers. Hugs Elissa

The weather...pooey fradle! It is raining so much here, I expect to see the Ark anyday now! My husband always said no need to worry until we see the big boat go floating by! The levy which is only 12 miles from my home is in danger of giving away to the Ohio River!!!! It scares me, we haven\'t had a massive flood since 1937 and it was awful so I hear and I seen the pictures of it. We have had little floods, but nothing major. Say a prayer for southern Illinois. I hope you see your grandkids soon, I love it when mine yell out \"Mawmaw Kathy\'s here\", and run into my arms...nothing like these little angels we call grandchildren! Love you, Kat
