Hi
Well, tomorrow is going to be an interesting day. I'm starting a job. No, the pain hasn't changed, but I found an office job that I'm overqualified for and they hired me on the spot. I'm scared to death that the pain won't let me do it, but dammit, I'm going to try any way. The worst that can happen is that I can't do it, and well, nothing will have changed anyway.
On a side note, man, I feel old. Another member of the Beastie Boys died today. He was only in his 50's. This hits home because I remember listening to them when in my teens. I did some Youtube video, and came across a David Letterman one from 1992. I was only 17 at the time. Man, everyone looked young. Man, where has time gone? It truly is the enemy.
I had a rough life, specially in my teens, but I can't help but want to go back to those years because I still had some innocence, I did have fun, I was just discovering life, and I still had a lot of life to look forward to. I always held the attitude that even if it was bad "now," there's a chance it'll get better later. Heh... wow. Its amazing what 25 or so years will do to a person's perspective, huh?

Good for you! Even though you\'re overqualified I bet it was a boost to your battered confidence to be hired on the spot, you should be proud of yourself. Let us know how your first day went when you\'re up to it. I think your going into this with the right attitude, all you can do is try and see how it goes but if it doesn\'t work out at least you know you tried.
