Yes, I know, I have been inactive. The main reason for this is that for some reason, the DS website always takes FOREVER to load, and the last time I tried to get on, I couldn't. I got some sort of error about the website being down or something. Whats up with that? Its really frustrating that when I need/want to get on, I can't because of this issue. That's really been the main reason why I've been staying away. I have too much other frustrations in my life to add this to it!!!
I've been trying to be active. I went for a couple mile walk the other day and got sunburned pretty bad. But that's ok, as it beats looking like a vampire or something.
I finally got a call from the counseling place. I have an appointment on Monday for it. We'll see how it goes.
I cooked an incredible meal last night. I'm really pushing myself regardless of the pain, and this meal showed it. It took a bunch of driving around to find the ingredients (small town) and then about 90 minutes prep time. Cooking time was about thirty minutes. What did I make? Sweet and Sour Pork. Yup, I even made the sauce... none of that store bought crap here!
I made it extra special for my wife's lunch. I guess everyone was oogling it! lol! She wants more of it so she's buying more pork. This time, I'll be making a double portion. Yes, it'll be gone in one day probably ;) I love to cook!
I talked with my oldest daughter tonight. She told me some pretty private things, and I'm very touched that she did.
Ok... now to see if DS will actually save this or not...

sounds good ,, glad you were able to log on to share,, altho i don\'t eat pork or beef anymore i do love cooking an baking ,, i hope u continue to reach beyond any physical or emotional pain to find peace within an i\'ll do whatever i can to support u n that,, its a beautiful day in newyork kool an chilly perfect for cuddling but now i gotta find someone to cuddle with,,lol,, damn u can\'t have it all at one time ,,lol try juicing as well

I\'m so so proud of you for getting out and walking with the pain I know you\'re in and YUMMY YUMMY on the sweet and sour pork! That was so sweet for you to make it special for your wife. :)

I\'ve noticed the slow site too, very frustrating....ugh.
Nice meal :) My husband is the chef here too. He\'s gained 10 lbs since retiring end of Feb., he is such a good cook. Sometimes it\'s good for us to tell pain to bug off and keep active even when we don\'t want to.
