Hired a lawyer today and reality is setting in. Both my stbx and I (and of course the kids) are going to drop our standard of living really low due to lack of money. I am so upset about this, I've worked hard my entire life, and now at 54, in poor health, finding out I'm going to have to live basically in poverty is just too much too handle right now. My kids are going to be devastated when they find out they will have to change schools yet again. I see nothing positive ahead at all.
