Thanks Ralph, its good to know your out there. I finally got to talk to my boy the other night, first time since the current arrest. It is the hardest part because I don't know what to say anymore. Hi son hows it going seems rather cold. His aunt and I told him to get a different lawyer, but so far they haven't given him one. The guy he had seemed to have his mind already made up. He is supposed to being doing his next court date next week and he still don't know whats going to happen. I have heard about the investigations with Minnesota's program, in fact many of our mental health facilities are seriously lacking in every way. They don't seem to have a handle on the situation when it comes to rehabilitation especially. I am afraid for my boys, both of them could face the same fate if they don't get the right help. Because of their type of crime they are the most hated and least likely to get compassion and social support so they can improve themselves. I just don't know what else to do for them. I am Mom, and I am supposed to be the super hero, but I lost my super cape someplace, and their fathers aren't around, in fact the one who is facing the judge next, his father passed away last year while my boy was in jail for trying to abuse his sister again. And my older boys dad wants nothing to do with him, he doesn't want to deal with the embarrassment in his small town. It's just me, I am all they have. they don't even have each other. I get tired sometimes.......... Don't'even get me started on my two step kids with their crazy bi-polar, manic, ADHD, brain damaged from a car accident, and drug abuse with schizo effective disorder Mother, who loves to take us to court, and leave nasty voice mails or just walk into my house because her kids don't want to see her. Oh there will be a book some day,:) maybe a movie. Send me some strength...

Second court date was today. He wasn\'t able to get a different lawyer unless he could pay for his own, so we are stuck with the crabby guy. The two woman behind us where talking about him because they had him before and they were not impressed. They called him the public pretender. (Not Good) and even worse he plead not guilty, so we are going to trial. That was my worst fear. They have plenty of evidence on him. I am afraid they are going to nail him to the wall. Home land security took both his cell phones, and the computer, as well as the testimony of the under cover cop and the girl and her father. My son isn\'t telling us what the lawyer is saying so I don\'t know why he would plead not guilty. This particular son does have mental health issues, it is very bad on his dads side. Major chemical imbalance, lots of criminal behavior. Plus he had a very traumatic birth and I always wondered if there wasn\'t some brain damage from it, it almost killed us both. He may be one of the unfixables, but I remember my sweet loving little boy and I know he is not evil, he is just not in control.
I am sorry to hear about your daughter. How old is she? I have been mom to five kids and the worst years where I thought they hated me was from about 12 to 30, with my boys anyway. The girls got over it much earlier. 18 and 19. But they still are tough on their fathers a few years longer. I hope someday she looks back and realizes what she did. Having kids of your own is the best way to clear your self focused thoughts, snapping you into reality. Does she have kids? Like you say, all we can do is say I love you and hope they believe us someday. Parenting in this generation is insane. Some days it feels like you have the whole world working against you then you look on the Face Book page and realize they are. It\'s like being the only solder on the battle field and your not allowed any weapons.
Man there are some long days aren\'t there?
