I spoke up at marriage counseling last night, I got alot off my chest. My husband denies alot of things that he has said, or he says he doesn't remember saying things he has said. I told the marriage counselor that I am afraid to bring up things to discuss, because I am afraid of getting into a heated argument everytime I try to discuss anything with him, then I end up hearing I am making him out to be the bad guy, just blame him for everything. Which turns the blame on me as usual. I still think that he is in denial about the whole thing. I have to go and meet my son's new therapist today. I have to give her a history of my son. My husband is not too happy about my kids going for therapy, but I feel that they need to go. There is too much going on at home between my illness and what is going on between my husband and I. They need someone to talk to. My daughter saw me take the pills that I tried to commit suicide with and still feels very angry at me, I think she would benefit from being able to talk about it. Her and I have talked about it, but having someone else to talk about it with would be a good thing for her. I think I will continue to write things down that I want to discuss in therapy sessions, it really seems to help me remember things, it makes for a productive session. Everyone have a good rest of the day.

I am so proud of you for speaking up in counseling last night I know that had to be hard for you but it seems that you feel like something was accomplished even if he still doesn\'t get it. and I agree that your children do need someone else who they can talk to just like you need to get things off your chest so do they and in an environment where thy feel they wont be judged or punished for saying what they feel.that means that you are a good mother taking care of the needs of your children. keep writing down what you need to talk about with your counselor i is a good idea I should try it.

I think you are being a god mom getting your kids into therapy. You\'re right, they do need it. Stick to your guns.

You are doing all the right things. Don\'t let anyone try to tell you otherwise. It is good for children to talk with someone else when things are hectic at home. Keep up the hard work.
