Dear everyone that has taken the time to read this journal entry.
I am so grateful that I found this site. In fact I had no idea that online support groups even existed. It was a comfort to me to find out that we can get support from the comfort of our own home. Considering that it can be a challenge for me to travel, this was the next best thing.For the last two years I have experienced a few losses. In 2014 my pet bird died, in 2015 my other pet bird died, and last October a friend of mine passed away suddenly. It feels like I haven't had much of a break to let myself heal, but I know I will heal. It will just take time for me to do so.While I have only joined this site today I already feel comfortable, and I will try to offer as much help as I can to others. I feel like helping others will help me heal as well despite feeling a little lost at the moment.
