Rant
Talked with my son yesterday, good conversation. Saw him in court for a VOP thurs, court ugly as usual. He is still in segregated area s/t to being hcp in a wheelchair. This state has two hcp prisons, and they both allegedly have enemies of his, per case worker. So he is in a box most days 24/7, out every 3 days for a shower. Does not get required by law rec time... Have seen him twice there, both times handcuffed behind glass, outrageous only because he is a hcp person in a non hcp facility. Case worker said he should never have been sent there, true. He is an amputee person that needs hcp facilities, ramps, shower, ect. Plastic chair in shower has to suffice for time being, he said he just leans on it because you know...Damn. Time just keeps piling up. He received a letter from his appellatte PD, appeal to be heard later part of next year, have to stay positive, right. Have to, because a it stands now he has more than 35yrs, he would be over 60 yrs, and me, probably dead. His dad too. This hurts so bad. Crying, got to go. Need to sleep, work tonight.

It\'s a shame how they treat them in facilities, like they\'re not even human beings anymore! Mine tells me not to worry, but that\'s almost impossible when you love them so much. He\'s also trying to get his appeal heard too, seems like it\'s taking forever. They\'re also taking forever with his phone list too, making us both pi**ed off! Try to keep your head up; It\'s easier said than done sometimes I know. Sending lots of hugs!
