I haven't been on lately. Hubby is in hospital with diverticulitis. His doc said he would be in there all week. He was in a great deal of pain. He doesn't have to have any surgery but if he gets it again he may have to. He has to follow a special diet for a short time and then go back to normal, but he has to make sure he gets enough fiber. It is weird now that I am taking care of him instead of him taking care of me. Well I just wanted to check in. I better try to get some sleep. Have a good day.

I pray that your husband is feeling better and that you are physically able to help him. I know what it\'s like to have someone you love go through that. It\'s not fun. My mother has diverticulitis also. She\'s had it for years. However, this past year,, they had to take out about 10 inches of her colon along with her gall bladder. I pray your husband doesn\'t have to go through that. It does surprise me that he isn\'t being restricted from certain foods. Mom couldn\'t and can\'t eat anything with seeds (strawberries, buns with seseme seeds, etc.). Please let us know how ya\'ll are doing. Don\'t forget to take care of yourself. You can\'t help him if you\'re not doing well. God be with you.
