March 12; Having some better days and some not so good. Therapy is helping to lower the pain from the sciatic nerve issues. today my legs are giving me grief and i have had to take a lyrica.. I am really enjoying the recumbent stationary bike; i am being very good about riding it daily for at least 20 minutes; which is huge for me. I painted and sewed and then had to give up and take a lyrica so now i am just resting.
I have been playing a Treasure hunt game on face book and it is really helping my eye and hand concentration... the memory game has too many tiles and i can not do it . Just frustrates me that i can not remember what the tiles are when they flip back over. I can do some of the simple marble in a maze and i like the tetrus type game.. They are hard but also fun. I know they help my brain. I wish i could do the memory tile game but it has too many tiles to remember what tile matches with another.
I have been painting (Posted new painting on photo page) and I have been doing some simple sewing by using a sewing guide on the machine and wearing spectacles.
I am trying to set simple goals that I can accomplish.. like making phone calls, (dialing the phone is doable but hard on my brain to find the correct numbers.)
I am cooking some with the help of a good friend. I am able to make bread in the bread maker and consistently make a good loaf. crazy weather is hard to making a light fluffy loaf of bread but even so the bread is quickly enjoyed around here.
hugs and love take care.
my friend is really into bread making. that is all he does, never buys bread at all. when he makes sweet bread it really is fabulous. the other day he made fresh frozen fruit from aldis for 2.89 blueberries, raspberries etc., and then sugar and boil for 20 minutes and put that on bread or crackers. omg sooooo good.
