Feeling good. Have prayer shawl this morn and a friend is help me with errands. I bought an electric nail file; it is not as good as the ole Clairol battery operated one that i have had for years and recent quit working; but at least it is something half decent; it will work. Spent the rest of my xmas money on the stupid thing and some great socks. I am trying to figure out how to do a latch rug. This may seem like a simple task but I am having a HUGE problem with the grid pattern. It is not printed on the canvas. The instructions have a small diagram of the grid with the yarn placement on it. My mind can not wrap around this concept of placing the yarn on the canvas grid from the instruction grid picture. I have pulled the rug kit out several times and try but have not been able to; I was just going to give it away; but there is apart of me that really wants to make the stuffed 3D kitten. So I have an idea; I am going to have the gridded pattern blown up to the size of the actual canvas grids. I think I can lay the canvas on top of the photocopy, mark the canvas with the design and then latch it.I posted new pictures of my two recent paintings of sea scapes. They were alot of fun to paint. If you like to paint try painting a sea scape; the water can be very interesing! My first paintings with waves the water looked very very unsafe to sail on. My goal was to paint a relaxing painting but my truths keep showing up (smiles).

I\'ve found that if I did something a lot and well before my injury, I still have most of those skills. But when I try to learn something new, it is very very hard.
It is wonderful that you have come up with what I sometimes call a \"work around\" for making your latch rug. Way to go!! You are an inspiration to me.
