Gramie taught me how to make a new crochet shawl pattern.  I am having fun making the new stlye shawl.  I am feeling pretty good.  I had to take a pain pill today.  But over all I am doing much better. I hope i keep improving and do not back slide. The new crochet shawl pattern has a major obtical for me to deal with.  I need to know if the stiches are equal on both sidies of the triangle but as it gets bigger with more stiches I have a very hard time keeping count. So i divised away to know if I have the same number of stiches on both sides with out having to count.  I start at the edges with both hands at a corner of the shawl and feel each stich to the center point.  If the stiches are Not equal then i know I need to encrease or decrease a stich(s)  I do try to count the stiches as i move my hands to the center but I do not have to rely on counting to make sure I have the equal stiches on boths sides of the shawl.    I have been watching butterflies.  We have had a few fly by and a few visit my flowers.  I have been studying butterflies to be able to ID what kinds are coming to visit my garden.  I am also going to plant a "Butterfly Bush in the spring.  It really attracts the butterflies.   Just something to do and it will be good for the brain and eyes.  At gramie's the skys are a little darker; less light pollution.  So we enjoyed star gazing.  We concentrated on looking at Cassiopeia's the queen constellation.  I can see all but one of the stars in the constellations Cassiopeia.  I am hoping that the constellation Cassiopeia will be sorta like a land mark for me to start finding my way around the night sky of stars.   I can not see the enough of the stars in the big dipper to be able to find it in the sky.  Well we think that this last brain healing change has come with improved hearing.   Everything seems louder and I can not stand noise espicially barking dogs.  My sight though seems worse; or at least it was more blurry though the brain changes these past couple of months.  Eye hand coordination is Not pretty again.   I am practicing Sumie pracitice stokes to try and regain a gentle touch with the paint brush to the canvas.  I thank my lucky stars for you guys.
