I have no idea how to start this journal. Everyone knows that my family has climbed so far up hill since we lost our daughter MayLyn. You also know tha we have taken new jobs in a different city. We just got a house a week or so ago and we were looking forward to moving into it on the first or there abouts. It is really hard for me to type right now so I am gonna make this really short.Last night when we were driving home, which makes it about 5:00 AM for the most of you on this side of the world (we work swing shift) we hit a 200 pound 8 point deer with my lincoln towncar. Needless to say our car is totalled and my world has once more turned inside out. Those of you who know me closely know that yesterday MayLyn would have been 29 had she still ben alive. I had just made the comment a little earlier to my husband Wayne that I was going to be stronger this year and go to work on her birthday and try to stay busy and occupied and remember her with my candle and my prayers and our talks together when I am lonely for her and miss her terribly.I have very little vision in my right eye for now so my head is in great pain, the airbag messed up my face pretty bad. We are okay, and I will survive this as I have survived so much already. The deer stopped us dead in our tracks, we were moving at 55 MPH and he hit us squarely in the center of the front of the car, If he would have moved at all the police believe that he would have gone through the windsheild and probably killed us both. Once again I say thanks the my Guardian Angel for keeping us safe.Thank you MayMay, Love Mommy and Daddy. To the rest of you I say God Bless, Be safe, and I love you too.Jacqueline PLH MayLyn's Momma.

I am so glad you are okay, with injuries that will pass with time.
sorry about the car, but that can be replaced.
the important thing is that you are alright. You have been through so much to let this set you back...I\'m sure it won\'t. It will slow you up for a few days, but won\'t come close to stopping you. Take care those bruises and aches and pains. love, Dawn

Oh my how scary that must of been. I am so grateful that you are both safe & unharmed for the most part. I believe your precious MayLyn was looking over her loving parents. I hope that you feel better soon, and that moving into your new home carries as little stress as possible. I know how overwhelming moving can be. Please take care of you! We love you & care for you. You are a very important person to all of us, & to those precious grandbabies of yours! Much love & many hugs.

I am so sorry about the accident. I am glad you were not hurt to badly. Your Guardian Angel was looking after you. Good luck with moving. We moved one month after Joe passed. I know how stressful it can be & so tiring....Wsihing you a peaceful New Year. Sending you my LOVE lucille
I am so sorry that this has happened to you...I know most people think that deer are so cute, but if they lived in a rural area, they would realize how destructive they can be (doesn\'t sound too green of me does it?)..I swear that I have never hit a deer, they jump out and hit me and cause so much damage...Ok I really like deer and know that we are encroaching on their space and all, but I hate them...I am so glad that you are OK...and am thankful that your angel was being alert.
Heal quickly my dear,
Ann
