I guess I have been thinking too long again about this green smiley face sharing thing because here it is Tuesday night and I cannot bring myself to get into sharing MayLyn as a baby or a child, it still hurts too much. I am working on it though, everyday. Someday I will whip out one of my treasured memories for all the world to read but it will not be this week. So bear with me please as I wander into unknown territory for me. I was thinking however that I could share something of her (childhood/adult) with all of you and I have been busy remembering all of her special words she used to use on a daily basis, some of them have become family words.Apricops = apricots (her favorite fruit as a child)WindShypers = WindshieldwipersTuppany = Stephanie (one of her friends)I Ya Yu! - yup you guessed it! I love you.Padiddle = just like it sounds, a game she played while driving. And the one thing that comes to mind that my daughter did while she was alive was at the end of every conversation she had on the phone with a family member she wouldn't say bye or see ya. MayLyn alway's said "LOVE BYE." To this day all of my family members and my close friends all say "LOVE BYE." I think it has been one of our silent tributes to MayLyn, and I really love it, it makes me stop and see her in my mind everytime I hear it, and for that I am grateful. So I guess I will close for today. Thanks again for listening. And to you my sweets, Maymay, I miss you so much! Talk to you tomorrow. "Love Bye"

Jacqueline, this was a giant step for you. It took great courage to come to Charleston and again to share MayLyn with us. Keep taking those baby steps and it will get easier each day. Love Bye: how beautiful! Barbara xoxo
these are wonderful memories!
Hi Jacqueline,
Thanks for sharing those memories. Isn\'t it funny how expressive little ones can be? We play the padiddle thing when we are driving, too. Have a good Wednesday. Take care. Love, Dawn

I love the words. I tell mu daughter to write down her daughters words as later they will mean so much. If it\'s okay with you I\'ll let her read you journal, so she will know how much it means. Thanks so much for sharing. Love and hugs cathy
how sweet! those memories can bring a smile to our face. i know it was very difficult for you to share that with all of us. i\'m so very glad you were able to write it down for us. thank you. when you are ready, you can always tell us more of Maylyn. love you! ~ charlayne
At this time of year I must always smile-Chris loved my pumpkin pie but he pronounced it \"pumpin pie\"-I would ask him many times, what kind of pie do you want Mommy to make, just to hear him say pumpin! And I\'m a speech therapist! I loved your memories-they made me smile-you take care now, Love, Sandy
So wonderful of you to share this with us. I\'m so proud that you are able to do this much. Never worry about what you aren\'t ready to do just yet, just do the things you can and know MayLyn is so very proud of you.
Hugs and kisses,
Teri
