Yes...I had a wonderful time in Charleston, although it was emotionally moving to say the least.
At the airport in Houston Charlayne and I parted ways, I called my Father as I was instructed and he informed me that my cousin Michael Barker had passed away on Saturday in TN. That amkes two of my favorite cousins gone in the last six months. What the hell is going on??????
When I landed in Jackson I had a message waiting on my phone from a good friend here telling me that a longtime friend Allura Stewart had passed away that morning and one of our other friends had found her.
Right now I am devestated, I was so excited to come home and share everything with all those people around me and I am having a very hard time focusing on anything. So for now I am going to get a little rest and then I have a million phone calls to make, and two funerals to attend.
I love all of you, my sisters and close friends. We needed to do this past week-end and we will catch up a little later. Hugs to everyone.

I\'m so sorry you came home to find more sadness. You know we\'re all here and we love you so very much. I\'m so proud of you, but more importantly MayLyn is proud of her momma! I love you my friend and am so glad we had some time together this weekend. You are precious.

I too am sorry. John and I got a call coming home yesterday that a dear friend of ours died yesterday also. He was 42. His daddy was the preacher at Josh\'s funeral. They live two door down from us. I need to go to the funeral but I just can\'t. He will be at the same place as Josh and with Josh\'s birthday being this weekend there is no way I can make myself go in that funeral home.
