I do so appreciate when you all come together to offer me the advice I cannot find anywhere else on earth. You are all my "cherry lifes-savers!"I get so frustrated when I give 110% and I get nothing in return from outside my family (always get huge return from immedite family, even when I am overly grouchy) I want to scream sometimes, and yes on occasion I do cry along with the screming. I try always to be fair and logical at work while having a heart. We all know that going through this nightmare does allow us the capability to be more understanding than the average Joe or Josephine. I have a heart, a big heart, I cry when others just toss their heads backwards and snort with disdain. I wrap my arms around those who come to talk to me and look for those few words of comfort or understanding, and....As of this past week for the first time in my 25 year long career I told my superior that he was ever so wrong with the words he had put onto paper describing my behavior at work. It felt good too! He was wrong, how corperate to praise you fpr the deeds you do well and to throw in the "BUT." I let him know the "BUT" was up his (so to speak) and it was wonderful. Who else was going to stick up for me besides me? It all worked out really wel because at the end of a 45 minute discussion he told me to put the write-up into the paper shredder. I put all 4 copies into it at once and broke the shredder. I laughed so hard I almost pee'ed my pants when I walked out of the office. I am not a "YES" girl, never have been and I never will be. But after I lost my girl I had begun to wonder if I had lost my direction. I know not all of this makes sense to all of you, but it does to me and I needed to vent. You are all my ears, and for that I drop to my knees and thank you all from the bottom of my heart.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!All my love,Jacqueline PLH MAyLyn's MommaThinking of you today and always Maymay, you were my daughter, my closest friend and my life, miss you terribly!

Hi Jacqueline,
Good morning and GOOD FOR YOU!! You did something that about 90 percent of the working class wish they would have done when they get that \"but\" thing. I think the blah,blah,blah......\"but.\" That \"but\" is the job security for them. After all if there was no \"but\" your report would have shown not much room for improvement. Hense the \"but.\" I think the \"but is because they are a butt!!\" It must have been the frosting on the cake when the shredder broke! That would got to prove what \"garbage\" it was in the first place. Even the shredder rejected it.
We\'re all dancing around in our computer rooms just thinking about what a great experience that must have been for you. I am so proud of you. It also goes to say that your boss is pretty fair! Not always right, but pretty fair, just the same!!! You are absolutely right, if we don\'t stand up for ourself, who will? I\'m proud of you. Have a great Wednesday. Take care. Love, Dawn
It DID makes sense to me. Alot of sense. Good for you! We have enough on ours minds. We don\'t need the petty complaints. Especially, when you are going a GOOD job. Have a good day. Take Care love lucille
You go girl. What an act of courage, well done. Keep up the good work. Love and hugs Cathy
Glad things worked out for you so well. Kudos for sticking up for yourself!!
Oh sweetie - I need to follow your example! I live in the corporate world and I have felt recently such a strong urge to tell some individuals what I really think lately! Instead I keep contemplating leaving... I should take your example and stick up for myself....and then leave! LOL All my love, Karen
