Hello Everyone, Friends and Aquaintances, I have ben gone all week and the only computer I had access to was my brothers laptop with dialup, so I digress, it was a much needed week long break from all the tumoils going on right now. I did mis all of you, reading and writing and it will take me a few days to catch up but I wanted to take a minute and say hello to everyone and let you know that myself and my family are okay this week. We drove to AL to see my family. I had been wanting to go for sometime now and there has always been something else come up to stop us. I worked my butt off at work and did a ton of OT and facilitated some newer programs for my bosses to make their lives easier and pretty much earned some extra time off, and they actually gave it to me! I was shocked and very pleased to say the least.Mom is doing well at home, much better than that ugly nursing home, that's for sure. Her face lit up everytime she looked into my eyes and she talked more and was more active while I was there. It made the fact that I really need to be there for her now just that much more important to me. My goal is to move my family there by the end of this year for sure.I have to hit the shower for today and get back to work for today but I will write more tomorrow. For those of us that are going to be going to Charleston, I am so very excited!!!! I really look forward to seeing each and everyone of us that gets to go this year. I have not gone anywhere in over three years that has not involved my family and this trip will be most liberating for me. I am challenging a lot of my basic fears, leaving the house (sense of security) to go somewhere other than to work or to my parents. This is HUGE for me. It has been three years since MayLyn went to heaven and three years since I have gone anywhere, alone. I know this is an issue for some of you also, so talk to me... maybe together we can figure out how to do this together. I will extend my hand and my heart to you as always.Love Jacqueline PLHMayLyn's Momma
