This is a very sad day for me, my favorite cousin passed away last night after a very long battle with cancer. His name was Jimmy Schroeder, he was only 11 years older than me. Out of 16 grand kids he was the oldest, I am the youngest. And out of all of those cousins, there are only 4 of us that stay in communications. I receives the call from my Dad last night while I was at work that Jimmy had passed, I cried so hard. Since losing my MayLyn I did not have the finances to be able to go visit him before his leaving this world. Time off, money, kids, the whole thing. Something always got in the way. Now he is gone to be with MayLyn in Heaven. I did get to talk to him for awhile last night before he left. I told him he was my hero and I told him how much I loved him. I refused to say good-bye, he would never say that, I told him I would see him later, just like we always said while we were growing up.I will miss him terribly, he was one of my closest friends. I promise to be strong for Frances, that is what I promised Jimmy. I love them both so much. When you step outside just take a second and blow a kiss to the heavens for all those loved ones we miss. One loss and one loss do not make two losses, I think our losses compound on themselves and make it even, if that\'s possible, harder to handle. My sympathy and support are ther for you.
