Sometimes we travel in different directions, but all of us are walking the same path. I flip through everyones page that I have the time to get to and there is always something that touches my soul, down deep, makes me think out loud, how facinating!!! I am amazed each time I visit D.S. And grateful for D.S. too!!!I was reading Luc44's journal entry this morning when it hit me. She speaks of her Father's surgery and how worried she was.I already shared with you all how MayLyn's Heaven date fell on Easter this past April 4th. She has been gone 3 years now, although it feels like yesterday on most days. What I did not share with you was that on that same day my Mother, who is in the late stages of Alheimer's was in the hospital and had become so sick from a broken foot that had spiraled into a three month stay in I.C.U. She was fighting for her life when one thing after another started happening to her.Starting with her broken foot next she had calcium particles blocking her saliva glands and her face was sweling, blocking off her airway. When they were putting in her trach they punctured her asophogus. She was in hospital hell. Moving forward: I got off work earlier than usual on Saturday night (was supposed to work till 4 AM-left @ 12 AM) and in the car on the way home I flipped open my phone and there was a message from my Dad. Him and my brother were in the car headed to the hospital because Mom had upon waking had ripped the trach out and they couldn't get it back in. Major scare for us. That was when they poked her asophogus with the trach tube, trying to get it back in so she could breath.I remember having the petrifying though that my Mom was going to pass on the exact same day as my Daughter!!! I almost went into shock right there in the front seat of the car. My Husband must have seen it coming, he started talking to me really fast and serious like. "Jacqueline, don't go there, let it go, don't think that way dangit girl!! Call your Dad right now!!"After I spoke to Dad he reassured me that Mom was going to be okay for now, they had put her into an intentional coma, it lasted 27 days, but gave her the time to heal that she needed.I just remember having that thought "God, are you gonna take my Momma away on this day of all days?" That thought scared the be-jeebus outta me.Once I experience the ultimate loss, I knew at that point , like Luc44, I didn't want to and was not ready to handle this kind of a loss again.I am glad that her Father, like my Mother, are both doing better today. Momma went home yesterday finally. Please say a prayer today for both of them. All my thanks. I know I ramble sometimes, but all of this comes from my heart and I do hope it helps others in some small way.Love Jacqueline PLH MayLyn's Momma

Praying for a full recovery!
Keep your chin up.
Always in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of prayers, Jake\'s mom, Kathy
They say we are never given more than we can handle. I know there are times when we feel this isn\'t so, but somehow we make it through. I pray that your Mom will smile again, and feel better real soon. Hopefully this hurdle is over for you as well, and you will find peace real soon. Your in my thoughts and prayers. Dawn....Kristie\'s mom.
