OKay, I have once again gathered my wits about me. I am tired, but I usually stay that way.
This has been a huge work week and it isn't getting any shorter.
We took Tina to get her hair cut this past week, she looks so pretty, and she looks so much like her Mom! Sometimes it sucks the wind out of my lungs! I have to do the "double blink", pass it off as a wink thing. And yes I know how blessed I am to have the children here with me. But I cry, and I cry so hard. I remember MayLyn as a child and I actually see her, or so it seems.
The flashbacks are now turning from torture to, well, how to say a warm fondness, a softer missing than what I have felt in the past.
I still cry, but not as hard. I tend to get a little lost, or focused, yeah right, okay day dreaming about her as a young girl, we have so many good memories. I look forward to the day have the majority of them down on paper so I can read it at 80 or 90 years old. I don't want to forget her in my old age, like my Mom has forogten me.
Mom is finally out from the coma. Her leg is finally starting to heal. She is no longer using the resperator, but she has not said a single word. All I can say is "I miss you Mom."
"Take care of my girl when you get there."
Will chat more later, gonna try a hot bath and some rest.
