Today
Today has been an awesome day. I have had some pain today, but have chosen not to focus on it. Screw the pain for today!! Today is mine!! Granny and I went out to yard sales and thrift stores earlier in the day. Found lots of bargains. Got me and Tootie some shirts and a pair of pants apiece. Got Dillon a winter coat for only $0.50!! Lots of shirts for him too. A pair of nice tennis shoes for me. Granny a mirror for her new bathrooom. Lots of stuff!! I love it.
I used to do all my manic spending at the thrift store!! Bought lots and lots of stuff for cheap. $1 each for pants and shirts, sweaters, etc. Kid clothes for the same or cheaper.
That is one reason I am so overrun with stuff now. One thing about it though..........I can watch an episode of "Hoarders" and feel like my house is clean. :) Those poor people!! If I don't do something with my clutter now though, I could be one of those poor people when I get old.
Speaking of old.......I will be 40 in November!! Can you believe it?? I can't. Yes, I can. Because I FEEL so damn old!! I am 39, going on 93!!

girlfriend, please! You KNOW how to shop!!! I do the same thing, too..and it\'s a real good thing we know how to find good things at bargain price! I know what you\'re saying about that show.. lol... ahem. Anyway, watch what you\'re saying about yourself...... I\"M 39 and HOOOOOLLLLDING on myself and YOU think I\'n all right... so, then SO ARE YOU! It\'s a mind over matter thing , ok for the most part at least. Dang, girlie! QUIT that!!! Your journals are always interesting... and I love your sense of humor and how you never take the world seriously... we should ALL learn from you!!! I love garage sales. It is like a birthday every time you go because you never know what you will get! I am glad you had a good day.
I so need to get rid of my clutter too. Glad you got loads of good deals! I just turned 30 and was like OMG - no way.. it\'s surreal..
