hi
hi just an updatte for those who know me i can now walk a bit, decided to go to christchurch for an aunts funeral, day after earthquake happened. I think heaps about the what ifs on my plans had i done them the way i planned basically i wouldnt have been here to write this so i feel blessed and honoured.
I think about all the new amputees due to the earthquake in nz and now japan. The trauma alone, to the horror stories will haunt some for life but i pray for the strength for people to walk again
on leaving christchurch what my experience taught me was to get the most comfortable fitting limb possible as this is my life and i need to be able to escape sucessfully should the need arise and that before i holiday again i need to be walking a lot more pain free than now.
my stumps not really cooperating with any liners and i have good and bad days oh and i sprained the good ankle so thats was dumb.
i am so lucky i have a limb fitter who tries everything and hasnt given up cos im too complicated ,its true not a pun on words.
life is for living
