It is Sunday morning
The day on which you rose early
And surprised us with donuts
and the morning papers
I have to choose
to keep the tradition alive
or take a new path
Create new rituals
I am torn
Does leaving the ritual behind
leave you behind?
or does forging ahead honor you
with my being strong enough to carry on?
In time I will know
And I will carry on

My husband used to get donuts and the Sunday paper. I don\'t.....wanted to keep that all his.......Colleen
I agree Colleen I did for a while but am now making special breakfasts for the boys instead. We do need new rituals that are ours.
That is one thing that I have found...I needed new rituals if I was ever going to start healing.......Hope you have a good week. Hugs, Colleen
