Limbo
The sun is shining
Why?
Why should there be sunlight and happiness?
I am plunged into another place where the sun is shadows
and the shadows are you
I am looking toward the brightness
But am pulled back because you are there in that place between light and dark
And I can’t reach you or the light
Which is real?
Will I ever know?
I am adrift in that place
Will I find my way up to daylight again?
