Past 1 in the morning and I still can't sleep like most of my nights my thoughts are filled with uncertainties about what's next ...no income, no insurance, there goes the house , etc...still not released from my surgeon...can't work due to the back surgery.
Tried to send some resume out to see what's out there, some called back but seemed to lose
interest upon learning about my back surgery.
I do not know what my cbc is, sigh...to depressed to even have it checked.

Hi, I read your last insert into your Journal. I hope things have improved sense then. Do you have CML . I thought you must if you are taking Gleevec. I am in remission after 1 1/2 years on Gleevec I recently had a follow up Bone Marrow Biopsy and it was negative for the Philidelphia Chromasone. I am thrilled. You too can find a solution to your problem. Just have faith in God. God Bless. Redbird

It\'s been a few years now since the CML diagnosis; held a few jobs since and currently have a good one, so to speak. CML is now a majos part of my life since it has so many side effects like joint pains, fatigue, (short memory since then?) and it doesn\'t go away. Been taking pain meds but I don\'t know if the meds actually works \"cox pain just stays. I lost 30 pounds as doctors have recommended it for the joint pains, but pain persists. I can not do anything but to live with it. My primary was glad i lost weight through exercise, my oncologist was surprised to see how much weight I lost, but I am still looking for some relief. I heard something about some immunotherapy, some sort of alternative mediacation supposedly to boost the immnue system. One time I resesched it online but got swayed away from it because their mainly seeling their products...but still looking...
Still can not sleep good, pain wakes me up...I curl upp and down in pain sometimes, sometimes I cry out loud, yes, prayers helo but pain stays, though.
I kept the house, financially getting back in track, i just hope the pain goes away. Oncologist says I am doing ood with gleevec, platelet count goes up and down but gleevec keeps it in control...
