So far all the doctors i have seen couldn't give me any straight answer as to why my hip hurts so bad, that i can not walk anymore.
i had a back surgery due to herniated discs (2)
the surgeon says my hip hurts due to the discs that were hitting the nerve, but after the surgery the pain didn't go away (surgery was last Oct 06). the two oncologists said it WAS due to CML attaching the big bones (hips), as well as the large spleen hurting my left lower abdomen right below the ribs, but nothing should be hurting me now since my blood work is normal now. so i was referred to a oncologist orthopedics but said the same thing, not no mention the primary doctor and another orthopedist who said the same thing, but my hips still prevent me from walking straight, or sometimes i can not walk at all due to the pain.
i am to see another oncologist on friday at the sloan cattering cancer center in NY, according to the doctors i have seen, is the best, or one of the best in the nation , so hopefully they will have answers to this "mystery".
i forgot to make mention of the nuerologist who is also seeing me for some tests, and i am religiously following all the doctor's orders, hoping it would help me.
prayers are good but so far i am still in pain.
