Yesterday was blah on a couple of levels.  First came the news that a friend had been in a car accident and although she was not hurt, her beloved dog was killed.  This was one sweet yellow lab with the best disposition - well behaved, etc.  I'm gonna miss him too.  It's so sad to have our furry friends taken away like this.Next came the news about the cost of repairing my husband's car - there are two repairs that need to be done, and we can only hope that there isn't more.  The estimate is somewhere around $600 and this is for a 13 year old economy car that's worth $1100.00 so it's getting to be hard to decide if it's worth the repair, but we certainly are not in a position to buy a new (used) car, so I guess we just have to bite the bullet.  Add this to my DH needing to replace his broken glasses, and get his partial that just lost a tooth fixed, and he's so busy and stressed at work that he doesn't even have time for one of these issues.The weather is starting to turn summery and we need to get a new A/C unit.  It's no wonder I'm having nightmares about being under attack with no escape.But I've just got to look at the day in front of me and do the best that I can with it.  I can't control anything or anyone else.
