I've had a pretty nice day. I worked at a bookkeeping job from 9 to 3. I came home expecting to find my new sewing machine had been delivered, but instead just a walking foot arrived. Apparently the rest of the shipment is coming tomorrow. Oh well.
Yesterday my therapist gave me a tip she read from some other expert on combatting obsessive thought (and she said I was an expert at obsessing - LOL) - anyhow the tip is to hum or sing. Apparently you use a different part of your brain when you do this and the two activities can't be done at the same time. It's worth a shot.
Meanwhile the one thing I can't help from obsessing on is my poison ivy. New blisters just popped up on the palm of my left hand! I don't every remember having such a widespread outbreak as this. My face is pretty well healed, but the trunk of my body has many spots that are still raging.
Hopefully this too shall pass
