ARRGHH! I'm itching and oozing and half out of my head with this maddening poison ivy. I'm using all the remedies and they work for a short while, but the misery comes back quickly. It's spreading and I'm trying very hard to prevent that from happening. Most of all I don't want it to get near my eyes. I've had that happen when I was a kid and it made my eyes swell shut.
But - in spite of this I managed to walk to the local library - a round trip of a mile or so, and I checked out "A Purpose Driven Life". I bought this as a gift for someone once, but I never did read it myself. Hope this will distract me from my itches.

You poor thing! I would send you a hug but it sounds like a cortizone shot would be better. Hope it slows up, deb
Howdy from Texas.
Poor baby, poison ivy is a darn awful thing to cope with. I remember getting that a few years ago and it was awful.
I hope you get to feeling better really soon.
I straightened the living room around 3 am cause I couldnt sleep. I just got really tired of the clutter once and for good. I sleep in the living room cause my dad and me cant afford a two bedroom place right now. I have a small corner but its okay. I would rather stay with my dad than stay with my alcholic ex hubby any day. Altho Mike is in rehab for his drinking problem finally and is doing a lot better. He is getting support and encouragement to stay sober. He is a nice guy when he is sober for sure.
I am getting support for my eating disorder finally and am getting better. Its been a struggle for years but didnt want to ask for help. Dont know why exactly but now I feel better with help close by.
The spring weather is so pretty and everything is blooming all a round us. Love the texas wildflowers for sure.
Might get a parakeet for a pet cause anything in a cage doesnt require a pet deposit. A cat or a dog cost 300 dollars for pet deposit. I will not pay such a crazy fee.
Take care and stay in touch.
