Good grief, Charlie Brown...I'm glad I eliminated What else can go wrong from my vocabulary. If I were still drinking, I'd be under the floor that the table sits on. But there is that shining spot of joy that I am still clean, free, sober. Gotta love problems. Uhhh? No I don't . Gotta love family and rely on my higher power to see me through all this debris. If one more problem arises I'll - do what-. I'll deal with it. yep. That's what I'll do. The temptation is to say "I need a drink" but actually I don't. For reasons I can not fathom...I really just don't need or want a drink. I think maybe it's because I thought/think about what one will lead to..I actually "see" it in my minds' eye and I am totally turned off and tuned out to the urge. YEAA!Whooppee! On the bright side of all the problems of the last week or however long it's been... it can't last forever. Justin will heal, all 4 cars will be fixed, feelings/people will settle down, bills will get paid, life will go on. I (me, myself, & I) will maintain my sobriety - no matter what. On a good note Lily's christening went well - she's so cute. And I finally heard from my brother eventhough it took Justin's accident to prompt him out of his "whatever" mentality. I found the parts I needed to finish that project for Jean. Hey..this is looking suspiciously like a gratitude list. ooo yea.. we got to see Cayman after how many weeks.? Kyle has been hanging with me instead of his "friends" and he's talking of stopping his using. tatatada! Gwen's soon to be new renters are fabulous people who have adaughter that uses..that's not good- but they are pleased to have a new friend to talk with about how to "work" on her. You don't work on her, you learn skills to stop encouraging her dependency on u. Been there -done that got- the tshirt- and tossed it. ok? ok. Darcy keeps telling me how proud she is of me and i am her hero again. My poor baby girl. I know now my drinking was rough on her too. Hell for everyone. But guess what: I'm back. Well a new improved me is at any rate. Jim is like really relieved i'm not intoxicated any more. I don't think he could handle any more stress of that nature any longer. He smiles a lot. And we don't just talk... we communicate. He's such a lovely man. I'm so fortunate. Now if i can just win the lottery... hahahaha : ] . Alrighty then...it's time to get some work done. Clothes don't wash themselves. And so far I can't get the dogs to sweep or mop the floors. Heck I can't teach them to wipe their paws. So til later...
