7 years sober.
Well it has been another year since I have posted to my journal. As of April the 18th I had 7 years sober time. I have got a new grandson, a new job at Mission Missouri, and am taking my MRSS-P class to further my education in the field of recovery. My daughter and her family are now living with me permanently and that is going great. It is looking like I may have to put my dog of like 13 or 14 years down. Soooooooo it looks like I may have some ups and downs over the next few weeks. My little Kissie dog means the world to me and I can't stand the thoughts of not having her with me. She is just like another child to me and has become such an important part of the family for all these years. I just can't bear to see her hurting and losing her bodily functions like she is. I guess life will go on without her but it sure will be different and lonely for me.
