7 polyps

I'm amazed how yesterday's colon cancer test went like clockwork, even with late change of my exam changed from one in afternoon to 11:45 in morning---and all without a phone of my own.
My alpha male friend knocked around 11 with the news, including the news that he wouldn't be able to pick me up till after 3 oclock---with me taking sunglasses and a hat to hospital with me, cause thought i'd be walking home after exam.
45 minutes of paperwork/questions, wheeled into exam room around lunchtime---and bam, out i went.
No grogginess, just blink of eye, like tv shows "bewitched/star trek", of in exam one room second and in another looking at two nurses talking in post-exam room.  Not even counting down to be put out, with tube put in my nose, and out.
7 polyps removed from my colon---with a page of photos of my colon even given me!  I asked doctor what's the most polyps he ever removed, and he said "hundreds"!  Man in my apartment building told me his wife had 23 removed, with one being cancerous.  The doctor only talked to me about 30 seconds afterwards, but I'm happy with how it worked out.
I even enjoyed 45 minutes of tv in my hospital room.  My alpha male friend showed up, with his girlfriend, we went out for a chinese dinner, and it also felt good to get a ride home from somebody I know, instead of arranging with the hospital transportation office 40 miles away, for a 2? mile ride.

Sounds like things went very well! Now you can relax a bit and be glad it is over. I would not worry too much about the polyps. They usually mean nothing.

thanks, everybody.

it\'s summer, so i don\'t even go to out to library for computer, like did before.

will be looking up info about what is good / bad for colon....learned that salad dressing is bad---and i practically guzzled that stuff on salad.

stoopid 1980s friend now in same hospital i got my exam---he just willing to get pain pills for his colon trouble, though was a month ago he was in a florida hospital for same pain....eventually he\'s gonna be in e.r. every other week instead of months, and not be able to bounce back for millionth time....but he\'s too dense to understand that.
