7 months out 225 lbs to 141

so today I weighed in at 141!!!!
I am so happy but thats what I said when I hit 150 "if I never loose another pound I will be satisfied"  so to weigh 141 at turning 50 on my 6mo out when I weighed 136 40 years ago when I joinde the Army is like such a big wow.
an aquaintance at my husbands work had her GB surgery 10 days after my original one in June 2008, she was the same size as me and about 15 pounds heaver as she is 2 inches taller, she had me come over to her house to go thru her closet for her "big" clothes... sizes 8-11... she is now into a 2-4.
had a great visit with her to talk about this experience, and clothes shopping... she gave me the best advice if the clothes fit perfect then if possible buy the next size smaller.  I went home with a trunkfull of clothes!!! .
A girl at work asked what size I was wearing I told her 12, she looked at me and said no way you look like a 10 in your pants...well thinking about it I went to my stack of "new" pants I had set aside because they were 8 & 10's, I proceded to try them on as I had looked at the tag and said no way and put them aside when I brought them home. guess what I am wearing a pair of the size 10 jeans!!!!!
my daughter laughed at me in my panties and said I was buying too big of sizes...(my brain was not computing how small I had  gotten)  she brought me a pair of bikini in 5 and 6 to try on and guess what the  5's fit!!!!!  OMG!
so no matter how discouraged I get I will read this entry and remember that feeling1
