7 months and the ride goes on

The roller-coaster slowly returns to the station and then takes off again at top speed. My head spins and I want to just scream, but I don't, I hold it in and wait for the next wave to come. Today, right this minute, I am sad. I am sure that as soon as I get to the crest of the hill things will be brighter.. I really never liked roller coaster...

I don\'t like roller coasters either ....and it is exactly what this grief ride is like...I hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Dawn

Hi Becca,
Don\'t know what took your dear husband from you.......but with us it was cancer. That in and of itself was a roller coaster of high highs, and low lows as the treatment and the ensuing ct scan reports dictated just how we would be feeling. Then facing the next wave of the ride, up, down, up, down. I think this grieving process is similar in that you can be up one day or one week, or even one minute and then come crashing down the next. It is normal I am told. Hang in there.

Those rides are never easy. I was right there with you today. Before today it had been three weeks since my last ride. May God bless you with a better day tomorrow. --Melissa
