I am writing to inquire what I must to do to receive my XYZ stipend.
The 2011-12 academic year was very difficult for me physically,emotionally, academically and financially. I am just now beginning to recoverfrom the breakdown that I had in April/May. For the last 4 years, I have lived off $260 a month in child-support.This year (2012) has been especially difficult and due to bad decisions on MY partand a few unforeseen circumstances, my financial resources were completelyexhausted on May 2nd of this year when I received the last child support check.It is for this reason, that I need to do whatever necessary toreceive the stipend for my service on the 2011-12 XYZ Board. As Mr. XXXXX knows, I did not receive thestipend for my service on the 2010-11 XYZ Board. I was able to overlook that atthe time because I was not struggling financially as I am now. However, now Ihave medical expenses and miscellaneous educational expenses that I must coverfor myself and my son who will be attending XXXX in the Fall.

i read your journal. i am sorry you have had such a hard time all around. is there any way you can try to get charity care to cover the rest of your medical expenses. i wish i could help more about your situation. my daughter is going into college and my ex has asked me to try to get a loan for her. i don\'t have a job on the books, but decent credit. i am ill prepared. it\'s her first year too. so, i am taking out loans. i don\'t know what elsei can do, except try to send her money. i feel like a loser. when she wanted to go live with her father, and give him custody of her thou, she is less eligible for financial aid than if she lived with me...but this is not about your situation. i would put this situation of yours on the main messge boards, people have all sorts of knowledge and have gone through similiar situations.
