7/10/12 18w4d preggers!

Well I haven't written a journal in a few days cause alot has been going on (with life), not much with the pregnancy. I did start to feel "flutters" about 2 weeks ago and I feel  them  a few times throughout the day. I've felt real kicks about 3 times. Honestly, he doesn't move that much... usually first thing in the morning and then in  the late evening. I guess it's just his sleep schedule. But, it's so sweet when he moves cause sometimes I forget I'm even pregnant until I get a little poke and I'm like oh, yeah lol. I know he's getting so big and I read in my baby book that at 19 weeks he will be 10 inches long from head to toe! That seems so huge, but that's only half of what he will be when he is born. :D
Symptoms lately are.... nosebleeds. That's just about it. I read that it's normal though. I still throw up every morning... not from being pregnant but from being sick a month or so ago, I had some chest congestion and I still do. It is going away but very sloooowly. It's just that in the mornings when I brush my teeth, the congestion and mucus in my throat and chest makes me cough and gag and that ends up making me puke. :( I hate throwing up it's the worst.
Everything else is going good... my brother in law, his wife, and baby moved out!!! So me and my hubster have the place to ourselves now! So much peace and quiet you guys have no idea! But, we are still trying to find another place cause where we are at now has 3 bedrooms and it's too big for just the 2 of us, well it will be 3 but it will still be a while before baby boy has his own room. So we are just looking for a 2 bedroom place. The rent will be a little cheaper too. I don't have to worry about spending too much on the baby, I'm pretty much set with newborn and 0-3 months clothes that my sis in law bought for me... but that's all that I got. I still need all the other things like shampoo, diapers, wipes, bottles, pacifiers, etc.... but I will get all that at my baby shower cause my family is very generous and will sometimes give you TOO MANY presents lol. Especially my mom I know she will buy alot of things for me. My other sis in law has 2 boys too but they are older (3 & 5) so she doesn't have any of their baby stuff anymore. Back in the day when I was TTC I would always think that I would only buy my baby new things and only the best of the best of things... but now I am VERY grateful for free things and yard sale items! Less things  I have to buy lol!
Work still sucks and I've been shopping around for another job... but it's hard to  find an office job cause there aren't many around here that you can apply for without having some kind of college degree. Then other more strenuous jobs I can't apply for cause of being pregnant. I did receive a call from  a car dealership where I put in an application at for collections. But, I had left my phone in my car and by the time I called back the manager was gone for the day... so I will be calling back here shortly.
Also, we went and spoke with my husband's lawyer yesterday about getting his green card. We signed the contract and paid him already and now we have a list of about 17 things we have to do to show our marriage is legit since we got married after he ran into trouble with immigration. They automatically think the marriage is fraud and that I'm just a random girl he agreed to pay to marry him to get his green card. We have to prove that we have been together for a long time. We have to provide...
photos of us taken together
docs showing him added on to my car insurance (which he doesn't have a license, but in the state of TN it's the law to add your spouse onto the policy even if he/she is an excluded driver.... yay!)
joint bank account
passports
marriage license
joint leases for home (or rental  property)
jointly file fed income taxes (lawyer said not necessary since we wasn't married during this past tax season)
correspondence that we sent to each other, either during our marriage or while dating such as love letters, birthday notes, cards, emails, etc.... which is never wrote me anything, but I did send him a letter while he was in jail.
affidavits by family members and friends that have personal  knowledge that our marriage is legitimate (which I think will be the hardest since I have to depend on other ppl to get that done)
any other docs or paper that shows that we live together and are legitimately married and entered the marriage for reasons such as love, affection, etc.... ( which I am pregnant to show that, and plus I still have papers from health dept where they confirmed the pregnancy that I lost a year before to show we were trying to have a family for a long time, also I have the prescription papers for clomid back from january to show that this pregnancy was planned)
And then we have to pay $420 filing fee for document with immigration
His first court date is Dec 19,  2012. Which if we didn't have a lawyer, then he would have been taken into custody that day and deported. Which is only 2 weeks after our baby's due date, so he would have never been able to spend time with his son. But, now that we have a lawyer, he will just go and say he is representing my husband and he needs time to get all docs together and the lawyer says the court will probably be postponed till Feb 2014! So, I have faith everything will work out for us and that Pablo will be able to stay here :D
Well, I think I've typed enough for today so I will update another time!

My husband is from Haiti. I know all about that darn immigration stuff. We have been there and done that for sure. We just got his 10 year greencard so we are in the clear until he files for citizenship. I have packets and packets of papers that we have sent to immigration in the past including everything you have listed. It is just a ball of fun isn\'t it? I feel your pain!

YEAH! It all sucks! I wish we would had gotten married a while ago and filed for his greencard then, at least we would be half way there by now! Plus when they issue a green card, if he gets into anymore trouble... they can take it away in a heart beat.

I think it\'s awful when individuals are sincerely applying and taking the right steps, and others (like my ex\'s father) is abusing their green card and treating everything like it doesn\'t matter. I hope everything works out beautifully!
