Yesterday was my Dad’s 68th birthday. I had a great visit. We had a wonderfu dinner and next came cake and ICE-CREAM.  I kept contemplating back a forth in my mind, should I have ice-cream or not.  It was "Tin Roof Sundae" my favorite. For those of you who haven’t had Tin Roof, it’s vanilla ice-cream with chocolate fudge swirls and chocolate covered peanuts. At first I told myself NO! No! No! But I could hear it calling me from across the room. Sasha, SASHA, finally I gave in, I couldn’t take it anymore, I gave in and had not one, not two, but three scoops. :D  It was fabulous . Did I pay for it later, oh yea, but it was worth it. The pain only lasted for an hour. That surprised me.

I’m still very depressed. It’s starting to effect my marriage. WHY do men always think it’s all about them. (Not all men but most). He doesn’t get it. I don’t have the energy to deal with him. I’m trying so hard to think positive. I hate this pity party that I’ve been on for so long. I see my Doctor on the 13th . I’ll talk to her about the depression.

I’m always thinking about everyone here . God Bless yall . smiley-wink.gif

Hi Sasha, Thank you for the prayers for me and others here.

Depression is so difficult for the depressed person. It\'s too bad when the people closest to us don\'t get it.

I go in and out of it. I think mine is hormonal (the menopause thing) and I\'m considering estrogen for a few years (age 48 to 52 or so). I just heard a report this morning that starting in the late forties up to late 50\'s is the most beneficial time to take estrogen.

More than depression issues I would like it to help me with memory problems.

Sasha,
It is funny, when I get TN pain and am hungry I will eat icecream because I do not have to bite down on it and for some reason it does not bother my TN. Lucky me because I love Icecream.
Take care
Mike
